Winter Time is Here!

Hi TCE families,

I hope you have been enjoying this change in weather and are ready for it to drop a few more degrees later this week!  If you could please make sure that as the days get colder, that your child/children are dressing in layers if needed with coats, gloves, scarves, etc.  We will do our best to make sure that anything they bring to school makes it back home, but you may want to do a few reminders too about keeping up with any winter clothing so as not to lose anything along the way!

TCE Art for the Sky Project
Our TCE Art for the Sky project last Friday with Daniel Dancer was a huge success!  We collected over 200 pairs of blue jeans to donate as well as our learners all came together with our TCE staff in order to create our Heart of Texas design.  We would like to thank our PTO, families and all of our learners and TCE staff in making this such a great event!  Each of our learners are coming home with their own personal photo of our TCE "The Heart of Texas".  If you click on the following link, you can watch the video production (put together by Daniel Dancer) of the whole two day project!

Parking Lot/Traffic Loop Safety
If you all could please remember to help us stay safe in our parking lot areas and loops during arrivals and dismissals each day.  This is especially important as we may have more rainy days or bad weather coming up in the next few months.  Please remember to watch and use all crosswalks as well as make sure that you don't get out of your car in our front and cafeteria loops during these times as we try to keep everyone safe and the traffic moving as quickly as we can.  Please know that safety is of utmost importance to us and that we appreciate your patience during these wintery weather days!
