Slime or No Slime. . .We Shall See. . .


Final Push for Jump Rope for Heart
We are nearly to our goal of $20,000.00!  

We are currently at $17,130 in donations.  So, if we can raise just $2,870.00 more dollars we will be there!  I am going to give a little extension on our date to Friday, March 3rd then Mr. Shelby and myself will be slimed at our Spirit Rally  on Friday, March 10th if we can reach the goal!

If you would like to come out tomorrow and jump with our kiddos, feel free to come by during their specials times: 

4th grade - 9:30-10:20
2nd grade - 10:20-11:10
5th grade - 11:10-12:00
1st grade - 12:30-1:20
Kindergarten - 1:20-2:10
3rd grade - 2:10-3:00

Spirit Rally

For our 3rd spirit rally, we will have our Kindergarten performing as well as possible other groups from our Texan Town clubs.  We will also be having the official "slime time" for myself and Mr. Shelby if we meet our goal for Jump Rope for Heart!

Happy Valentine's Day!


Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!  We had a great day at Town Center celebrating and having special treats!  Thank you to all of the parents who were able to come out and help out with our class parties!  

We have several events happening this week and this month at TCE!  Please make sure you check out the following reminders and more info to come soon on some other spring time learning and experiences for our kiddos!

Jump Rope for Heart

We are currently in the middle of our service learning fundraiser to help support the American Heart Association. 


As of today, we are sitting at $14,417.00 toward our goal of $20,000.00.   

We have until Friday, February 27th
to meet our goal for this year!  On the 27th you are welcome to come up for our day of jumping during our specials times.  

4th grade - 9:30-10:20
2nd grade - 10:20-11:10
5th grade - 11:10-12:00
1st grade - 12:30-1:20
Kindergarten - 1:20-2:10
3rd grade - 2:10-3:00

  Remember, if we reach our goal. . .Mr. Shelby and I will be officially getting buckets of slime poured on us this year during our March 10th Spirit Rally.   We'll see if we can make it to the target goal this year.  Keep those dollars coming in to help this good cause and to see your very own TCE administrators get slimed!


Spring:  Class and Individual Pictures

Don't forget that tomorrow, Wednesday, February 15th we will have picture day at TCE!  This is a great way to cherish those grade school years by purchasing individual and group pictures of your child's class.  If you have any questions, or need to get another order form just check with our front office.  


Engineering Extravaganza 
Family Night 
Thursday, February 16th from 5:30-7:00pm

It is time for our 3rd annual TCE Engineering Extravaganza Night. We will have STEM engineering design challenges throughout the building.   There are opportunities for every family K-5 to have fun and explore with hands-on learning together! Feel free to bring younger or older siblings to 
participate in the fun! 
We will also have several learners from Coppell High School and Coppell North Middle School showcasing projects in our gym as well as several elementary learners sharing  about our Lego robotics competition from this year.  

We hope to see you at TCE for our event! 




March PTO Meeting
Our next PTO meeting will be Thursday, March 2nd at 8:15am in the library.  If anyone that is available could please try your best to be in attendance at this meeting, since we will be discussing our big spring events (Book fair, TCE Hoedown and Field Day).  These meetings are a great way to get involved with the campus and learn about all of the happenings at TCE with learning.  We need every volunteer we can get to help make these fun family events successful for all of our kids and to keep all of you aware of the importance you play in making our school successful!

Book Fair
We will have our annual TCE Spring Book Fair March 6th-10th.  This is always a fun time for our kiddos and families to find some fun and exciting books to promote a love for reading.  We will have two days of Donuts with Dad and will be sending out more info as we get closer to the date!


Open House
Thursday, March 9th
TCE Open House will be just right around the corner, so mark your calendars for this fun night!  We love having the families come in and see all of the exceptional projects, presentations and learning that has been happening so far this year.
